Photography Policy

    This photography policy sets out the rules and guidelines for taking and using photographs at XVAcademy sessions, clinics, camps and any other XVAcademy events (the “Academy”). The purpose of this policy is to protect the privacy of our students and to ensure that photographs are used in a safe and appropriate manner.

    This policy applies to all staff, volunteers, parents, and other visitors to the Academy who may take photographs of students.

    Rules and Guidelines

    • Prior permission is required

    Any person wishing to take photographs of Academy students must obtain prior permission from the Academy staff. Parents may take photographs of their own children, but they must also obtain permission from the Academy staff beforehand.

    • No commercial use

    Photographs taken at the Academy may not be used for commercial purposes without the prior written consent of the Academy.

    • No identifying information

    Photographs taken at the Academy may not include any identifying information, such as the student’s name or age.

    • No inappropriate content

    Photographs taken at the Academy may not contain any inappropriate or offensive content, including nudity or suggestive poses.

    • No social media sharing

    Photographs taken at the Academy may not be shared on social media or other public platforms without the prior written consent of the Academy and the student’s parent or guardian.

    • Official XVAcademy Use

    The Academy will periodically bring in professional photographers to obtain quality photos of our training sessions, camps, clinics and events for promotional purposes of XVAcademy – online and offline.
